I decided to try my hand at blogging in order to share my Vintage Pink Cottage! It is on Devils Lake in Manitou Beach, MI, on the far western edge of the area known as the Irish Hills. This is rolling countryside, punctuated by fields and woods and lakes - lots of lakes.

We bought our Vintage Pink Cottage about 9 years ago, when it was only, well...vintage. My very handy and talented husband tore it down to the studs and built it back up again. We made a two-bedroom, 1-bath cottage in to a 3-bedroom, 2-bath cottage. I always say that I furnished the place for about $1.95: almost everything in it is from garage, yard and rummage sales. For me, it's the fun of the hunt for unique items!!! I am going to share my fun finds with you here.
